| Our Mission Statement: In order to achieve this vision, IMpaca! will: Hold meetings where members can meet, exchange information and socialize. Develop and maintain a website that allows members a presence on the Internet and provides additional information to the public about the association and member farms and ranches. Hold periodic educational seminars on such topics as: neonatal care, medical care and treatment, nutrition and pasturing, general health, training and handling, marketing, and other alpaca related topics as identified by the membership. Conduct marketing activities including sponsoring certified alpaca shows, participating in print media advertisements and other activities promoting local alpaca ownership and the alpaca industry as a whole. Promote ethical behavior and integrity in all facets of the alpaca industry. |

Seminars Mark your calendars "Getting Ready For Fiber Processing" Workshop April 14, 1-4 pm $20/member farm refreshments provided at Crooked Fence Alpacas Fiber Mill This workshop focuses on: How to keep your pastures clean so that your fiber is clean at shearing. How to shear so the the blanket is separate from the rest of the fiber. How to noodle and skirt. What can be done with your fiber and where you can sell it. Bring your questions!
